A qualified electronic seal is the organizational equivalent of an electronic signature. It confirms the origin and integrity of a document issued by a legal entity.
What is an electronic seal?
Under eIDAS Regulation 910/2014 (Article 38), a qualified electronic seal guarantees that the document was issued by the identified organization and has not been altered since sealing. It represents the organization, not an individual.
