What is an eIDAS qualified electronic timestamp?
A qualified electronic timestamp is issued by a Qualified Trust Service Provider and binds data to a point in time. Under eIDAS (Regulation (EU) No 910/2014) it enjoys the presumption of accuracy of the date and time and of the integrity of the data it is bound to, and it must be recognised in every EU Member State.
Where can I buy eIDAS qualified timestamps?

Are qualified timestamps recognised by Adobe Acrobat?
Yes. Timestamps from a Qualified TSA listed on the EU Trusted List are trusted by Adobe, so PDF signatures can be timestamped and validated for long-term validation (PAdES-LTA).
What is the difference between a qualified and a non-qualified timestamp?
Only a qualified timestamp, issued by a QTSP on the EU Trusted List, carries the legal presumption of accuracy and integrity throughout the EU. A non-qualified timestamp has no such presumption and may be challenged in court.
